A special mailing regarding ProCare Medicare
Supplement rates for new business and renewals has been mailed to
General Agents in Arkansas,
Delaware, Hawaii,
Idaho, Illinois,
Louisiana, Mississippi,
Ohio,
Oklahoma, Oregon,
Virginia and Wyoming.
Check your state(s) ProCare rate memo
for complete effective date information and cut-off dates for
business written with old rates. If you did not receive this notice,
please contact the Agent Service Center at (800) 925-7355.

It is important to remember individuals enrolled in Medicaid are not
eligible for Medicare Supplement insurance — even if they
disenroll from an HMO. The only exception to this rule is Kansas.

Rate Set
The Lifestyle Annuity new money interest rate for the month of December
is 4.00 percent. Rates will
continue to be reviewed and adjusted accordingly.

This is a reminder the Home Office will be closed Tuesday, Dec.
24 and Wednesday, Dec. 25, 2002 for the Christmas
holiday.
The Home Office will also be closed Wednesday,
Jan. 1, 2003 for New Year’s Day.

premium rate increase approvals effective Feb. 1, 2003 for new
business and renewals has been mailed to General Agents in Alaska,
Hawaii, Indiana, Nevada, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, and West
Virginia.
