Do Not Call Reminder
United American maintains an Internal Do Not Call Registry. If an Agent or appointment setter makes contact and someone requests not to be called again, that information must be sent to the Home Office (via e-mail, letter, or phone) to the attention of Policy Service. In order for the individual's telephone number to be added to our internal registry, you will need to provide the date of the request, full name, phone number, policy number (if applicable) and address, if available, for anyone to be added.

Agent’s Responsibility When Buying Lists:
• If you intend to market by telephone or mention United American Insurance Company anywhere in your sales approach (phone script, appointment setting, etc.), and you purchase a list of names and telephone numbers from an outside vendor, you must submit your purchased list to UA to be scrubbed against United American’s Do Not Call database. The list must be a delimited ASCII text file format and must be submitted to the Home Office to the attention of Randy Holmes, Information Technology at 3700 S. Stonebridge Drive, McKinney, TX 75070. Please allow seven (7) business days to process the list and return to you.

• Any list you purchase can only be used for three months from the date it was scrubbed, and then you must have the list scrubbed again.

• It is your responsibility to ensure any list you purchase and/or use has been scrubbed against any applicable State list.

• It is the General Agent’s responsibility to notify any new and existing sub-agents (Writing Agents), or any Agents contracted through his/her Agency, of the Do Not Call rules and train those Agents accordingly.

4 Advertising Reminders
Any type of sales or advertising materials, including print ads, TV or radio scripts, flyers, or direct mail pieces must be submitted to the Home Office for written approval prior to publication or use. Please allow two to three weeks for the review and evaluation of your piece. If state approval is required, expect additional delays. Some tips for getting your piece approved:
1. Clearly identify the full name of the Company, United American Insurance Company, at least once in the body of the advertisement, preferably near the top.
2. If the advertisement is for a Medicare Supplement policy, you must also include
the Medicare disclaimer at the end of the piece in no smaller than 10-point type. The disclaimer should read: United American Insurance Company is not associated with Medicare, Social Security, or any other government agency.
3. Clearly identify the products and services mentioned in the sales piece.
4. Use words and concepts that your intended audience can clearly understand. Avoid "industry" terms that the average person would not know. Also, avoid using ambiguous terms such as "comprehensive," "the best," or "the only."
5. Use only the most recent facts and figures available when citing general financial information or statistics about the Company, its products, or its ratings. Always provide the source and date for any statistic, and source dates should not be more than two years old.
